The Delmarva Rush 2012G team took on the Baltimore Mania Tournament and emerged as champions after an incredible undefeated run. Known as one of the region’s most competitive spring tournaments, Baltimore Mania brings together top teams from across the East Coast, testing their skills in a high-stakes environment. Delmarva Rush rose to the challenge, showcasing their talent, determination, and teamwork throughout the weekend.

Across the first three games, the team put on a dominant performance, scoring an impressive 13 goals while conceding only 3. Their strong attacking play and defensive discipline secured their place in the championship match.

The title game was a nail-biter, ending in a 1-1 draw, forcing the championship to be decided in penalty kicks. Under pressure, Sadie Strumph and Tejal Pillai stepped up first, confidently burying their shots. Meanwhile, keeper Charlotte Gilman delivered a clutch performance, completely shutting down the first three penalty attempts from the opposition. With the title on the line, Adelyn Thurman sealed the victory, striking the game-winning shot into the upper 90 to secure the Baltimore Mania Championship for Delmarva Rush.

This victory is a testament to the team’s hard work, dedication, and the outstanding leadership of Coach Scott. We are incredibly proud of these girls for their perseverance and skill throughout the tournament.
